Next TIP Mechanic Academy intake spaces almost filled

As reported in April, all 14 students from the second TIP Mechanic Academy group graduated, with each now progressing into the next phase of their careers, including working toward further qualifications.

TMA Graduates 24-25

The number of graduates this spring brings the total number to 24 since the start of the groundbreaking initiative for training would-be trailer mechanics.

The next Academy group will commence this September, with the number of graduates increasing to 16, and all spaces set to be filled, underlining the demand for the programme and its growing reputation in the industry.

Launched in the autumn of 2023, the Academy was created to fast-track trailer-dedicated mechanic training, delivering industry-standard certification in just nine months – significantly faster than traditional HGV programmes.

Cementing its credibility within the industry, the Academy has now gained formal accreditations from Jost, BPW and the Society of Engineers (SOE) CPD.

With a 100% graduation rate, newly secured accreditations and an almost fully booked upcoming intake, the TIP Mechanic Academy continues to redefine how the industry trains and supports its next generation of trailer mechanics.

In the Press Release, we hear about the role that mentorship plays in the success of the students and hear from the graduates themselves on their experience.
