How long have you been in the industry and how did you get into it?
In the Industry for nearly 25 years working predominantly for Truck manufacturers. Last 5 years I have been with DAF firstly as a Regional Sales Manager looking after SW, Wales and Midlands dealers before Joining Adams Morey as the Regional Sales director.
What do you like about working for TIP?
It must be the people everyone has been so welcoming and keen to help me settle in. The product offerings create so many opportunities for our customers so coupled with the support of the good people I’m looking forward to lots of success.
What does a typical day for you involve?
For me its all about being on patch introducing myself to existing TIP customers and introducing the business to those yet to be using us.
What are the top 3 most valuable skills you’ve learnt whilst working for TIP?
Having only been here a few weeks, I’ll have to let you know but I’m always open to learning new things so will keep you posted.
What is your biggest work achievement?
Really hard to answer as I look back on my career there are many things I am proud of but probably during the “Covid years” when trading was at its most challenging, I was able to support and drive my dealers to out perform the wider UK network.
What’s your favourite part of coming to work every day?
Meeting new people and building on existing relationships.
How do you like to start your day?
Coffee, always coffee.
What behaviour or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why?
I’m a people pleaser and always have been this means I will always go above and beyond to provide good service and work hard to build strong relationships. People buy from people whether its products, ideas or services and my success has been on the back of good relationships.
What’s your ideal way to spend your weekends?
Family, food and football.
